Gas work must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. IVS Services is Gas Safe registered, and all our engineers are qualified to carry out gas safety inspections, gas testing and gas appliance work.

What We Cover
Gas Safety Inspections
Thorough inspection of gas appliances, pipework and flues to confirm they are operating safely and in compliance with current regulations. We check all gas appliances in the property and issue a detailed report.
Landlord Gas Safety Records
Landlords are legally required to have all gas appliances in rental properties inspected annually by a Gas Safe registered engineer and to provide tenants with a copy of the Gas Safety Record. We carry out these inspections and issue the required documentation.
Gas Testing
Pressure testing of gas pipework to confirm there are no leaks. Required after any gas work, when moving into a new property or when a gas leak is suspected.
Gas Leak Investigation
If you suspect a gas leak, call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 immediately. Once the immediate risk has been managed, we can investigate the source of the leak and carry out the necessary repairs.
Gas Appliance Work
Installation, servicing and repair of gas appliances including boilers, gas fires and gas cookers. All work carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers to current regulations.
Gas Pipework
New gas pipework installation, pipework repairs and gas meter relocations. All pipework work is carried out to current Gas Safe and industry standards.
For Landlords
Landlord Gas Safety Your Legal Obligations
If you let a property with gas appliances, you have a legal obligation to have those appliances inspected annually by a Gas Safe registered engineer. You must provide your tenants with a copy of the Gas Safety Record within 28 days of the inspection, and keep records for at least two years.
